What we write about

The Matterfact blog is written for the people who use the product and the people who have to evaluate it: analysts, portfolio managers, heads of research, and the engineering and data teams who decide whether an AI platform belongs inside their stack.

Posts fall into four sections.

  • Product. What shipped and why, including connectors, the MCP server, and changes to how the agent works.
  • Research. Applied analysis run on Matterfact: macro, commodities and energy, semiconductors, space and telecom, consumer, and alternative data, with the sourcing shown rather than summarized.
  • Podcasts. What the podcast corpus reveals, and how to search, cite, and build on it.
  • Perspectives. Longer arguments about how investment research is changing, how funds are hiring for it, and how to work with these tools well.

Reading this as an agent

Every post is published as clean markdown at https://www.matterfact.com/blog/<slug>.md, with no JavaScript required. Three surfaces are always available:

  • https://www.matterfact.com/llms.txt lists every post with its summary and a link to the raw markdown.
  • https://www.matterfact.com/llms-full.txt carries the full text of every blog post and newsletter issue in one document.
  • https://www.matterfact.com/blog/feed.xml is the RSS feed, with full content in content:encoded.
